Apple Times

My name is Arjan Kemeling and I am a switcher.

After many years of hesitating and comparing Apple MacBooks to their PC alternatives I finally switched. The MacBook Pro Retina with its wonderful screen convinced me to make the step that I have been holding off for more than 20 years.

And yes, I was very nervous when I realized that I was about to go to the other side.
Will I be able to continue working as I did on my Windows machines ?
Which applications are also available on a Mac and which applications will I have to replace ?

It all went smoothly, almost too smooth.
And now I can't stand to see a Windows start button anymore.

On this blog I will share my experiences as a new switcher and I will list all handy tools and applications that I encountered along the way.
